Satisfied with this product and serviceJan 07, 2010

I bought this product as my boyfriend's Christmas present. He is a firefighter/emt and this is perfect for work. The watch is durable and the rubber strap is easy to wash after he works with patients. The military time is also helpful (since that is what they use). The only issue we have with the watch is that the tritium doesn't shine very brightly; the time is visible at night, but you really have to focus on the tick marks and where the hands are to be accurate. Shipping and delivery was very fast and arrived with plenty of time before Christmas. The price was very cheap; it was the best price I could find anywhere for this product.

I feel the Uzi tritinum watch is a good value and good looking watch. I've worn a Luminox watch for the past couple of years and it's still going strong. I bought the Uzi to see how well it holds up to me, as I can be rough on watches.
The Uzi and the S&W tritinum watches are only about half as bright as the Luminox. I suppose that is why the Uzi is about a third of the cost of a Luminox. In total darkness, you can glance at a Luminox and tell the time. With an Uzi or S&W, you'll need to really focus in on the watch to tell the time.

Recently received my Uzi watch after buying with some reservations. Those reservations were based upon a review stating that the luminous dial was very weak and hard to read. I wear glasses and at night it is imperative that I can read the dial easily. This watch does not have that problem. The dial is very bright and easy to read. If you have hesitated on this purchase, please be don't pass up this great watch, you will love it. And the price makes it even more of a value.
