I can never get a consistent reading off this thermometer. And I'm never sure if I'm taking the temperature of my child or the air in the room. I agree with another reviewer that it does not work to take a temp while child is sleeping as it makes really loud noises.

Tried this thermometer on 5 different people numerous times and didn't read over 97.1 once. Was on hold with CS for over 30 min before I finally hung up and decided to return.

I purchased a no touch thermometer as to take my child's temp when she is sleeping. It makes several loud beeping noises throughout the process, which could wake up any sleeping child. Also, the thermometer consistency read at least 1 degree cooler than our ear thermometer. Not impressed and will return to store.

We received this as a baby shower gift. Very cool idea, but completely inconsistent. I took a reading on myself & got 97.7. Then 2 minutes later it was 99.4 Don't buy into the gimmick. I went out and bought a simple thermometer & get consistent readings every time. I couldn't continue to trust this product to tell me whether or not my newborn was running a fever or not.

I read some reviews saying it does not work, but I guess some people don't even READ THE MANUAL!!! You need to follow the instructions in order to get the temperature!
I already have one, and I'm buying a second so I can leave it in my vacation home.
It is really easy to use and helpful!!!
