I am new to punch needle crafting, and this tool is a great basic punch needle tool to get started with. It is comfortable and very easy to thread. I don't have anything else to compare it to so I can't speak to how it rates against other items, but I am totally satisfied with it.

I use this tool for rehairing My Little Pony dolls. For the most part, it's very effective. I occasionally run into a problem, like ripping the hair when I wasn't paying attention to where I was punching, but it has otherwise been great. I highly reccomend this tool!

The plastic handle on this snapped the first time I used it. It seems like a poorly-made product, and I regret my purchase.

did not come with directions, Couldn't get the rubber piece off the needle. (the whole top part came off with it.) Was packaged in just cellophane. Wish I didn't buy it.
