Good for imagination and dexterityMar 29, 2009

My girls (ages 5 and 7) love these "melt beads" as they call them. They stay busy and happy for hours making various shapes and patterns. We now have a ridiculous number of their fused projects lying around, but I figure that's a reasonable price to pay for keeping them occupied and using their imaginations. A worthwhile product.

Lots of fun.......QUIET fun. hahaNov 16, 2009

My 9 year old daughter received this bucket for her birthday this year. This was the first thing we opened up and we just can't seem to stop! Since this bucket I have purchased lots of different peg boards and more beads! It's one of the only things that she will sit down and finish and then is so excited with the finished results. Last night we started the 3d designs. Can't wait to finish.

This large bucket of Perler Pet Pals will give the kids in your circle hours and hours of creative fun -- and you won't be bored helping them out, either!
There are lots of different things you can make, and the company has a web site to give you more projects than you could ever dream up on your own -- plus a gallery of stuff produced by "real people!" You just won't believe the stuff that people have made, it's just so cool.
It's important to note that this is made of "food grade" plastic IN THE USA! You don't have to worry about getting sick from weird chemicals in this (unlike lots of other toys of this nature made out of the country!)
This is definitely a good purchase.

This is a wonderful item and makes for a great gift. Everyone in our family loves to sit around and do these. My 3 year just puts them on to make any design and my 5 year has to sit and make sure it is completely symmetrical in design. Any friends who come over are just as enthralled; from child through adult. Great for small motor skills and creativity.

I bought this for my daughter, who was 8 at the time. She loves these things. It comes with a lot of the little bead things, so you shouldn't run out for a while. All in all I have absolutely no complaints. Fair price, good product. I'm very happy with this purchase.
