This drum looked and sounded good out of the box. Although after playing for a bit, I saw dents and marks all along the top rim. The bolts securing the drums were crooked, and the drum is very short and not well balanced. I say get a doumbek and you will have a much better time. For an ok affordable drum for smaller hands and arms, it does ok.
