5Waaaay CooooolJan 13, 2009
By A. Leivestad
We absolutely LOVE this thing. It's so nice to be able to look up at the ceiling and know what the time is and whether to pull the covers up tighter and snuggle a little longer. I've had a projection alarm before that was in a blue light. It was so bright you could read by it and I found myself covering it up to block the light. This one has a soft red light that doesn't burn your retinas through your eyelids. We live in a very cold climate, this winter even more so than usual. Being able to see the outside temperature without having to even roll over has been nice. The only issue is if the electricity is turned off you have to set the temp sensor again. Other than that, it's so great my husband wants to get them as Christmas presents for his employees next year.

3Cool item, short livedDec 06, 2009
By T. Oaks "Rambler-rider"
I liked having the time and temperature displayed on the ceiling. It is adequately bright for nighttime use but not for daytime use. After about a year, the outdoor temperature function quit working. We had given an identical unit to my father, and upon his death I brought it home. After a few months that one quit displaying outdoor temperatures. Of course we reset everything, replaced batteries, swapped sensors, etc. to no avail. Overall the product is nice to have, is low cost, but in our experience does not last for the long term.

5Great alarm clockNov 09, 2009
By A. Solow
I am very happy with this clock. Since I often wake up during the night, it is great to be able to see the time reflected on the wall without having to hit any buttons. Knowing the outside temperature is less useful--it just tells me that my bed is warmer than the outside this time of year, which I knew anyway.

The alarm is suitably loud and annoying and gets me up. The time/temperature display on my wall is amply bright.

The directions that come with the clock are pretty bad. They should say: put the batteries in and leave it alone. Come back the next morning, at which time it will have found the signal and be fully functional. The instructions for manually setting the time did not make any sense.

All in all---a great clock.

3Cheaply BuiltJan 13, 2010
By C. Vecchiola
It works fine, no issues there but the buttons are cheap. I have to really push in and hold the button to turn off the infered and it still won't go off. Only after a few attempts can I get it to go off. It does have a good range for the outdoor temp. It also projects very clear on the ceiling.

The projection is crisp, can be dimmed or turned off. Excellent clock overall. Recommend it!
