2Disappointing... it breaks!Jul 17, 2009
By Ryszard Kilarski "rkilarski"
I bought this bag on 2/6/09; today is 7/17/09. I used it once a week to take my Fender Strat to my guitar lessons. I'm writing that to give you an idea of how long and in what way I've been using it.

So, let me tell you first what I liked:
It's a nice sturdy bag, with plenty of padding for the guitar. Good pockets that fit a lot of stuff as well. I liked that the back straps sit comfortably and very much appreciated the different handgrips that are sown in around the bag.

However...

Right off the bat, I saw that when you zip up your guitar, the inner padding juts out a little bit. If you're not careful with the zipper, you'll catch the inner lining.

The zipper pulls are cheap and bend easily. And this is just from regular zipping/unzipping!

Finally, the worst offense yesterday. One of the backstraps broke! The fabric backstraps at the end have a metal axle sown in. That axle then attaches to the carabiner (which in turn you snap into the ring sown into the case; The point of attachment between the axle and the carabiner is a little metal nub.

Like most carabiners, it's engineered so that your backstraps are reversible, so what I'm describing poorly allows you to flip the backstrap (a totally useless feature, but whatever).

I'm going into this much detail because of how stupid it is: the little metal nub that holds the carabiner into the axle was made TOO SMALL. So yesterday it just snapped out of the axle, rendering that strap useless. The only way to really fix this is to replace the whole mechanism, which means re-sowing the sucker.

This should not happen with a $60 bag with the very light amount of use it had.

5Works really well!!Oct 15, 2010

The previous reviewer obviously got a defective case. The case I got works incredibly well, and always keeps the guitar well protected, and my back comfortable while carrying it. It has a lot of space, and it looks pretty good too. I'd recommend it to anyone!

5Can't beat it!Jun 13, 2011

I needed a bag to use when traveling by car on vacations and wanted something that would not take up a lot of unnecessary space to protect a tele. Since I would be handling it and packing it appropriately, I thought I would give this bag a try. It is a great deal for the money and does exactly what I need. I have multiple high end guitars all with some kind of hard case, or flight case and this bag fills the niche for lighter duty protection very well.

5Stop Thinking!!! Just Buy It!!!!Jan 06, 2012

For $30 This guitar case has all you need to protect your axe. I put my Epiphone Les Paul 100 in this baby and it fit like a charm. This case offers quite a bit of protection for the price. It also has alot of room for footpedals, amp chords, etc. One of the best features of this is the straps on the back for easy carrying, whether you're at a gig or what.
