Great product for the right situation. The hat is quite large and dramatic and will certainly get some attention. Quality is great for $30.00 in my opinion. Hat also has compartment with zipper above head which allows you to fill it with material in order for the hat to completely fill out and keep shape. I recommend this product to anyone looking for an over-the-top look.

I ordered this hat last minute for Halloween thinking it was my only option because all the other mad hatter hats were out of stock. It was way better than I expected! Very cool, my boyfriend had the coolest costume at the party. Very fast delivery as well.

I bought this hat as a costume piece for an invitee to my 30th Birthday Party. I am throwing a Mad Hatter Tea Party and the hat is GREAT!!!! It is really BIG and you can unzip the inside of the hat in order to stuff it with something that helps it keep its shape. I used the packing materials and that has worked really well. Very fun hat and great details; I would recommend this for anyone wanting to be the Mad Hatter!!!

As others have commented, this hat really is bigger and better than expected. I received many compliments on it on Halloween. Cleverly, it has a zippered compartment that you can fill to puff-up the hat. I filled it with all of the packing material from the Amazon box! You can also easily adjust the size for adults or kids.
To answer some comments in the other posts, this is a soft, floppy, velvet hat. You fill it to make it stand tall. The brim is very springy, a little bit like a pop-open car shade, so it holds its shape well.
The brim is about 18" in diameter, the top is 14", and it is 10" tall.

needed a mad hatter hat for my alice in wonderland birthday party. i searched high and low for hats of reasonable prices and this one by far had the best deal so i bought it. LOVE IT!!!! it i huge so it fits perfectly with the craziness of the mad hatter. don't be fooled by the picture it is huge and great!!! you have to stuff the top with something otherwise it's floppy but i used newspaper and it worked great!! definitely worth the price. only problem is the hat band is a little snug and it's a little heavy......but otherwise no complaints
