The new EZ Lock spindle for Dremel is a great inovation. It makes changing cutting wheels and other attachments quick and easy. No tiny screws to deal with, no tools needed, just pull back and turn the wheel to take it on and off. They make a great assortment of cutting wheels for the new EZ spindle too, not just for metal and plastic, but they have a wood wheel, and lots of abrasive wheels and polishing wheels now that fit the EZ Lock spindle. Once you use it you will never want to deal with the tiny screwdriver and screw again! Easy to recommend. 5 stars for convenience.

This kit makes changing from one type of cutting to another much quicker and easier then before. It also does a much better cutting job on metal, due to the larger diameter cutting disk, and is not a fragile as the older cut off disks.

Just ordered my 2nd set. This is still a good price for what is included.
If you use your dremel for cutting often, these are very useful. Also,
if you have the "old" style wheels, use 'em up. I still have some in the good 'ol
accessories box, 'an, well,,...EZ IS EASY!

This kit makes the old-style cutting wheels look absolutely ancient. I've used all 3 different wheels now, and they work great. I've managed to wear down one of the metal wheels quite a bit, but I've got a ton of use out of it, probably as much as a whole tube of the old reinforced wheels. And the speed-chuck works perfectly, no loose wheels.
