Great WatchApr 24, 2012
By Jacques Johnson I've had this watch for a few years now and the battery just ran down and I wanted to see if it was worth getting a new one instead of replacing the battery. The glass is great and the casing is tough. The bezel still works great even after a few summers at the beach in the salt and sand. Keeps time well and the digital display is great for displaying the date and is much smarter than analog date keepers. In the years since I set it up i only had to make an adjustment for leap-year. the strap seems to have the same life as the battery. while the strap is still useful i'll probably end up replacing it with the battery. The glow in the dark isnt too bad. ive never not been able to see the time between that and the light. very great watch.
dakota analog digital watchJan 21, 2012
By marvin k moony Nice looking watch. Hands are easy to see against background.Surprised that it is not a plastic face metal body a bit heavy but the band is comfortable and wide so I don't feel it so much. however the knurled knob for setting time is sharp and sits close enough to your wrist that it cuts in . I ended up putting some single face foam tape to keep it up above my wrist. The light seems to be useless,it creates too much glare to see the digital display and forget about the hands at all since the luminous face lasts about two minutes in the dark. It is easy to set and figure out without instructions and seems to hold time well for the month I've had it. I think I'll start shopping around some more
